How long does a garage floor coating take?

How long before I can use the floor?
Cure runs on temperature, so a cool building slows it down and a warm one speeds it up. As a rule, coated floors take light foot traffic about a day after the topcoat, and vehicles about three days. Full hardness usually lands closer to a week. We give you the windows for your floor when the job is done.
Do you coat commercial floors as well as homes?
Both. On the home side that is garages, basements, rec rooms and workshops. On the business side it is shops, service bays, warehouses, retail and back-of-house floors. SF Huling is backed by about 30 years of commercial flooring experience, so commercial and industrial floors are familiar ground.
Can you tear out my old floor without coating it?
Yes. Floor demolition stands on its own, and plenty of jobs stop there. We pull tile and thinset, carpet and pad, hardwood, laminate and glued-down vinyl, and the debris leaves with us. What is left is a bare slab, ready for a coating or for new flooring another trade installs.
What kinds of floors can be coated?
Concrete is the surface we coat. Garage slabs, basement floors, shop and warehouse floors, and finished rooms like a rec room all work. The slab has to be sound and dry enough to hold a coating, and grinding shows us where it stands. Wood, tile and vinyl come up first, and the concrete underneath gets coated.
