South Williamsport sits on a narrow strip between the West Branch Susquehanna and Bald Eagle Mountain. Winter salt rides in off Route 15 and drips off your tires onto the garage slab. On the older streets, basement floors are bare concrete that was poured before 1960. Epoxy flooring in South Williamsport turns both of those slabs into a floor you can mop.
SF Huling is an epoxy floor coating company based in Lock Haven. We coat garages, basements, shops and warehouses across Lycoming County. We tear out the old tile or carpet, then grind the slab back to clean concrete. Call or text (570) 772-2721 for a free estimate.

Garages here get worked over every winter. PennDOT pre-treats Route 15 with salt brine before storms move in. The brine comes home on your tires and pools on the concrete while the car sits. Bare slabs soak it up, then pit and flake.
We grind the slab with diamond tooling first so the coating can bond. Minor cracks and spalls get repaired as part of that prep. Then a base coat goes down and flake is broadcast across the whole floor. A durable clear topcoat seals it, and that build takes hot tires far better than paint out of a can.
The south end of the borough climbs toward Bald Eagle Mountain, so plenty of lots sit on a grade. Slush runs down a sloped driveway and stops right at the garage door. A garage floor epoxy with full flake gives you grip when that water gets inside. It also lets you push the mess back out with a squeegee.
This borough grew up on the flats behind the levee. The Army Corps of Engineers finished that flood protection in 1955. It held when Hurricane Agnes came through in 1972. More than half the homes in the 17702 zip code were built before 1960.
Slabs that old were poured rough and were never meant to be looked at. Humid Pennsylvania summers push moisture vapor up through the concrete, which is what makes basement floor paint peel. A basement floor coating starts with a ground slab. It bonds into the concrete instead of sitting on top.
Flake covers the patches and old repairs in a floor that has been down for decades. A lighter color blend brightens a basement that gets its daylight from two or three windows. We look at moisture in the slab before we recommend a system. That goes for a rec room, a laundry or a workshop.
Route 15 runs the length of the borough and crosses the river on the Carl E. Stotz Memorial Little League Bridge. That crossing carries close to 28,000 vehicles a day. The shops, service bays, offices and back rooms along the corridor all run on concrete floors.
SF Huling is backed by about 30 years of commercial flooring experience. Commercial epoxy flooring handles carts, pallet jacks and wash downs better than sealed concrete does. It also gives you a floor that mops clean instead of holding dust in the pores.
Every August the Little League World Series fills the complex on Route 15 for two weeks. Lamade Stadium seats 10,000, and the hillside berms hold thousands more. Businesses in the borough plan their year around those crowds. We set floor dates with you, so the work and the cure time land when your doors are quiet.
We work from Lock Haven down the river through Lycoming County. Along with the borough, we cover Duboistown, Armstrong Township and Susquehanna Township. That takes in Sylvan Dell, Allens, Nisbet and Mosquito Valley.
Residential and commercial floors both. The same company that tears out your old floor grinds the slab and installs the coating. For a rec room or a showroom, a metallic system gives you a marbled finish instead of flake.
