Interstate 180 runs along the borough's north edge, and US-220 is the other main route through town. PennDOT crews in this district pre-treat those roads with salt brine before storms. Your tires carry that brine right onto the garage slab. Salt water soaks into bare concrete, freezes, and pushes the surface apart.
